So many days and night were spent at that place, the cold hard concrete was a truth that we could face. Lower class suburban streets taught us things that only junkies would need. When I look back on those times I should have known that’s the life he would find. Just hanging and passing the time, ain’t hurting no one just trying to survive. Just having fun with our petty crimes. The all-nighters they were really the test. Our few friends knew the score we had with the rest. Please Sophie stay with me if just for one night, with you here it all feels alright. And when its cold and dark, raining on the carpark, finding warmth and shelter in a silver goon bag. Or running and hiding from gangs that want to bash us, just for being different or just for being there. Waiting and wondering if they will come back with their big black bats. No money and no hope, just trying to cope.
